By pressing Q or E you may sidestep to left or right depending on which key you pressed. By sidesteping you gain temporarily invincibility for a brief time however will remain venerable for a short time after landing on the time. This time is fixed and players can time attacks to hit players that sidestep a lot. Note that where you land while sidestepping depends on the camera angle. Sidestepping is the easiest using the cross-hair viewer.

- You may use sidestepping to climb cliffs
- Recommended to change camera angle to change position where you will sidestep
- Warning you should not abuse sidestep too much as sidestepping too much will make you very predictable
- The invincibility frame occurs in air and the delay occurs end jump-landing
